Postpartum care that holds what matters most

Held Heart Doula offers daytime postpartum support for families in Oakland and the surrounding East Bay. I provide warm, practical care that helps you rest, recover, and feel confident as you find your footing in this new season.

Postpartum is tender. It can be beautiful, messy, overwhelming, and full of questions.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

I offer in-home postpartum support including newborn care education, infant feeding support, emotional processing, sibling support, babywearing education, postpartum meal prep, and light household help—so you can breathe, heal, and feel held.

In the tender space of the fourth trimester, you aren't just learning how to care for a baby; you are learning how to care for the new version of yourself. My role is to hold the heart of that transition so you can breathe, heal, and simply be.

Warm. Calm. Grounded.

I believe postpartum care should feel like an exhale.

My approach is rooted in emotionally attuned support and practical education, without judgment, pressure, or one 'right' way to parent. I see us as collaborators: you bring the expertise on your own family, and I bring steady knowledge and presence. Together we figure out what actually works for you. No matter where you're starting from, I'll meet you there.

You were never meant to do this alone.

If you’re looking for steady, nurturing, heartfelt postpartum support, I’d love to connect.
